The NRWC's e-Leader: RRR Women's Leadership Webinar Program is designed for RRR women wishing to improve their leadership and advocacy skills. This 6 week program, 60-90minutes each Tuesday night starting 4 April 2018 will cover core skills in topics like self- leadership, working effectively with others, planning, advocacy and influencing and confidence and resilience as well as elements tailored to meet participants project needs.
Facilitated by Meredith Turnbull who has over 20 years experience in leadership roles in the community, health and social change sectors of Australia, this program is designed for RRR women to connect and network with other women from the convenience of their own home. All you need is access to reliable internet and have a computer and a speaker and headset. The program will develop and improve your leadership skills and it assist in the roles that you have in your community, from volunteering to running a not for profit business or event.
Applications from Rural Remote and Regional Women from diverse backgrounds with a broad range of projects are encouraged to apply but particularly women that identify with one or more of the following; Aboriginal women, Torres Strait Islander women , LGBTIQ, Older Women, Young Women, Refugee or Immigrant women and Women with a disability
Successful applicants will be notified by email by 30th March 2018
Each successful 25 participant will use their skills on a project within their community. Participants successfully completing the e-Leader program will go on to join the NRWC's e-Leader Alumnae, a strong network of RRR women with a passion for rural communities.
