Following on from the National Rural Women’s Coalition’s (NRWC) successful e-learning and leadership program, rural women are invited to join in online from their homes to participate in the FREE learning and leadership series called, A Cuppa With™

. A group of dynamic rural women meet online once a month to network, share ideas and learn from industry leaders via a live webinar and National Rural Women Network (NRWN) members are encouraged to take part.

About the Sessions

  • Guest speakers will share their own leadership journey and an insight on topics affecting rural industries and rural communities (download the full program for details).
  • Active participation and information sharing is encouraged
  • The sessions start at 7pm AEST and run for approximately 1- 1 ½ hours
  • Sessions take place monthly and are free for NRWN members

Catherine is a passionate advocator and has been actively involved in food production since growing up on the family farm in Victoria. Since graduation from University, she has worked in the northern beef industry as a nutritionist and feedlot consultant both in Australia. Recently Catherine noted that there was a real need to increase connections and understanding between producers and consumers and following her participation in the RIRDC Rural Women’s Award in WA, the company, Influential Women, was borne. The aims of Influential Women are to celebrate the roles that women play in Agriculture, collaborate more effectively across sectors and communicate more effectively with consumers the fantastic and positive stories we have from rural and regional Australia. Catherine was recently awarded the 2012 RIRDC Rural Women’s Award for WA.
